Hi my fave! How are you, or rather, how have you been ? How was August ? Everybody says August was a tough month, was it the same for you , or you are part of the Politician’s kids ? As for me, all I have to say is, what happened financially this month should not repeat itself again.

I was tired a lot this month, I do not know if it is burn out from reading or because I went to the market one too many times this month. Today is my mum’s birthday and tomorrow is my grandma‘s 90th , so you can imagine all the chaos and cake. There’s a party tomorrow and between you and I ? I’m already tired. Law School resumes tomorrow , which means I have to be in Port Harcourt on or before 9 am, wish me luck!

There are certain extremely random things that give me so much joy and I thought to share them with you, with a little back story of course;

Compliments; I’m of the opinion that compliments have ranks and compliments from older women is up there. On one of my numerous visits to the market, I entered this woman’s shop to buy body spray (ONLY), while selecting the body spray I wanted, she complimented my skin. She said my skin was very beautiful and smooth. Oh ehm Gee!!!!! Long story short, I bought perfumes and convinced my sister to buy from her.

Being the last born; I know my mummy’s wallet hate to see me coming. Remember when I said , what happened financially this month should not repeat itself? I was not joking, I was so broke this month, I did not even open my bank app nor leave the house with my ATM Card. That is where being the last born comes in and having a mother that doesn’t say no. One of the reasons I did not complain so much when I had to go to the market, was because every time I went, I came back with something for myself. On Wednesday, my sister and I went to the market and I came back with a new silver shoe, the only problem is , the girl is telling me to pay her back. SEND HELP.

Mint notes; I am obsessed. This obsession might be unhealthy because my mantra is , “ if the only cash I have is mint notes, then I do not have cash “. Even in emergency, I AM NOT SPENDING MY MINT.

Having a crush ; you know those crushes that last for two days ? my absolute favourite ! Not too much time to act on it but enough time to feed my delusions. Also, with men, two days is enough time for them to disappoint you.

Getting my hair done; I absolutely hate going to the saloon but my face card after getting braids done ? 10/10 .

Birthday’s; There’s just something about birthday’s that make me so happy, I can’t explain it . Like I said, today is my mum’s birthday and we are having a little something later this evening.
